We are moving into a small and unfurnished apartment. Since we don't have a lot of space, I would like what little we have to be nice and cozy. Where would you suggest buying furniture (indoor and outdoor) on St. Thomas? Our last apartment was furnished, so I haven't had to buy furniture on island yet!

Island Empire - Home Again -and really there are lots of big furniture stores all over STT -- plus you have - Costuless - PriceSmart - Kmart - Daily News - Island Trader - every weekend there are house sales - If you are not in a big hurry to have it all furnished quicly at one time -- just take your time - maybe even use rental furniture to get started for a month or 2 and accumulate what you like over time

It depends on what you want. Standard out of the box furnature can be had at K Mart and for better stuff try price mart or cost you less. You might try Home Again in Red Hook. They have used stuff but it is good. Then you can order furnature from various stores. American Furnature is one that comes to mind. Look in the phone book for all of them.
