wanted: STT 1 bedroom that is $1100 including utils. or less ($900 + util. or less is okay too)

Responsible couple with excellent professional,
personal, and rental references is looking to rent
a STT 1-bedroom apt. We are originally from the NE
US, we have been on island for many years, and we
are educators. We have rented the same place for
many years, but we want to downsize to something
more economical.

We need a place that you want to rent in a month as
we currently rent month-to-month and would need
to give our current landlord notice. (If someone is
ready to move in today, sometimes you have to
ask yourself what kind of notice they gave their
last place or if they are fresh off the plane and might
soon fly back to the States.)

We want to find a place that is $1100 or less
* including * utilities. We are very energy and
water conscious, following regular island
protocols for island water use and setting our
current AC no lower in temp. than 80 degrees at
the times that we even use it.

We want a place where we can park our 2
vehicles, that is in a safe neighborhood, and
that has a pretty big living room area.

(We would happily look at a 2-bdrm if it is in our
price range.)

PREFERENCES:
AC, but would consider a breezy place;
pool and/or beach proximity;
washer/dryer availability or hook-up;
view

We have no pets and do not smoke. We are quiet,
responsible, and clean.
