Updated Rentals for people moving

Hello there again good people! I have gotten a lot of calls lately, mostly asking me to update the properties for rent, so I would like to do that now. It is already getting very, very busy and I don't want anyone to get closed out of decent rentals. There are also some PMV spaces listed. These are not necessarily associated with Calabash Real Estate (I work for them), but a way of condensing some of the PMV spaces that I know about.

Apartments:

King St., Christiansted: One bedroom very cute apartment in a courtyard off the main drag. Second story, A/C, kitchen, living room, bedroom, bath. Like a tree house as it is nestled in palm! $800- per month plus deposit/utilities.

Hermon Hill: 2, one bedroom apartments still remain. Very (++) large. Nicely laid back. Quiet and safe. Reduced from $1,200 to $1,000 per month. Wonderful verandas with view of lush gardens and mountains. 4 minutes to Christiansted. Launry on premises. Pets okay as long as owner is responsible. Large bedroom, kitchen, dining area, huge living room or living room w/ office, veranda.

East St., Christiansted: 4 brand new apartments ranging from $800-$1,000 each. One studio, 2 mid sized one bedrooms, one large one bedroom. Renovated beautifully, fully furnished with wonderful furnishings. Safe and clean.off street parking that will be fenced and gated. A/C in each unit. Walk to work!

Short term/PMV:

Bugby Hole: Terrific one bedroom apartment. VERY large. Fully furnished and has everthing down to pots, pans, utensils etc. If reservations made before the end of October, even if they are for high season, summer rates will apply. $225/day. Pool, view of Haypenny beach and south shore. Lovely.

Cotton Valley: 2 bedroom guest house, LR, kitchen. Ea. bedroom has a queen sized bed. Patio with lovely gardens. 1 minute to main, Northside Road. $225 per day. Again, summer rates will apply to winter rentals if reservations made, though this time prior to October 1.

Esate St. John: Wonderful 2 bedroom house with pool and view. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Very private. Please write for rates and include the time you are planning your PMV.

Solitude: Large, 3 unit house with pool and wonderful views of mountains and Caribbean. Sleeps 8. Beautifully furnished. Please call or write for rates.

Houses,long term

Frazier Estate: The 'Pool House'. Ver deep and cool pool (very large). Under roof but next to pool is an outdoor kitchen, bathroom, dining table/chairs. Inside are the living room, guest bath, kitchen w/ washer and dryer, 2 bedroom each with private bath. An indoor dining room ishuge, though often used as a third bedroom or office/entertainment room. 4 acres of gorgeous gardens, walk ways and gazebos for tenant use. One month deposit and pet deposit if appropriate. $2,500, but will consider lower offers for great tenants.

Frazier Estate: The 'Island House". Eat in kitchen/large. All appliances and furniture new. Very nicely done. Large living room w/ guest bath. Laundry room next to kitchen. Door closes off private part of the house. Down that hall are a lovely guest bedroom with full bath, an office or third bedroom for company if needed- captains bunk built into one side, and the master bedroom, again with a private bath. Great wind and view of Green Cay and lower Solitude. $2,500, but again will consider offers from good tenants. Pet okay if cared for and pet deposit made ($300-).

Little Princess: 4 bedroom house. Huge living room, kitchen which requires two rooms for counters-appliances-pantry, 2 bathrooms including bidet, formal dining room and a gallery with all glass and French doors that could seat 30 people for dinner. On 4 acres of lawns, gardens, fruit grove etc. View of Buck Island and north side Caribbean. $2,200 plus utilities. Pet deposit if needed, one month's reg. deposit.

Sion Hill: On Red Brick Road. Very 'countrified' Great 3 bedroom house with sitting room at entry, large kitchen, seperate dining room, huge living room, terrific back gallery with view of old sugar mill and mountains as well as partial view of South shore. $1,450 plus deposit and pet deposit. Smoking outside and well cared for pet possible/ case to case basis. Lovely and large yard.

Cotton Valley: Beachfront home with 2 large bedrooms w/ A/C, huge and open living room, kitchen, 3 baths, dining area, great pool that leads on either side down to the beach with furniture for sitting on beach. Fully furnished. Guest house included: 1 large bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom. $2, 700. May consider offers.
