Hi All,
I'm looking to rent a two bedroom house for a small family. Mid island preferably, fenced, with walking distance to transportation. We are looking for something affordable, and child friendly. While putting into consideration our budget we're aiming for a maximum of $800. Even if its somewhat small, as long as its clean and safe. We're more than happy. Please contact me if you know of any homes fitting this description.

A HOUSE for $800?? Never seen one of those, personally, but best of luck to you...however, you should specify which island...

LOL with Marty... No one is trying to discourage anyone from finding a deal but if you find a house for $800 a month, I would make sure it belongs to the person who rents it to you. I have seen some good deals but they are few and far between. STX rents are dropping, that is true.
Two bedroom house middle island with no other renters usually goes between $1200 and $3000 without WAPA.

My wife just told me that you may find a two bedroom at Pepper Tree across from the hospital. That is center island and may be in your price range. There is a fence around the entire place and close to transportation and Sunny Isle shopping. Check it out...

I have a 3 bedroom condo for $600.00 Close to town. Right on the "New" by-pass.....

I just noticed some posts on CL that seem to match your needs; you may want to look there. Just be sure to ferret out the fakes & scams as others on this forum have discussed. Given today's market conditions, you may be able to find what you're looking for, at your price. Good luck in your search.

There may be post on Craigslis that match what you are looking for and they are most likely scams. This message board is the trusted most used system here. I use both and know how poorly and seldom used CL is here, there are more scams than real post.
