Wow...I would have never thought that the rental economy would be in such a difficult state as it seems to be with the HOVENSA closure.
In the past dozen years we have never rented to anybody who worked there.
Although many people have come up to look at this unique property, they all have the same question; can we supply the WAPA for free!
This would be really nice if we could, but since the unit has several a/c units, we just can't do that.
But, as posted previously; we will credit the tenant $50 for WAPA each month...and generally this would cover all the basic electric usage.
This unit has its own meter, but you do not have to sign up with WAPA...it is in our name, we just pass on the cost.
So...if you use lots of a/c, leave the lights on all the time, same for the numerous fans...you could actually pay a for WAPA usage.
All the other utilities are fully covered....!
We need to get a tenant into this property and to do so probably need to "sweeten" the deal a bit more!
So, here is something more:
1. With a 6 month lease we will give a new tenant the same "last month's free" as posted previously. (tu)
2. Additionally, with a 12 month lease we will toss in the first month's rent too! 😮
This is esentially two free months of rent...let's do something.
With the 2 free months and the WAPA credits the monthly average rent is about $700/month...that really good. *-)
Please remember that this is a really nice, very safe, and quiet place to reside...and has great panoramic views of the west end and sea!
