I have a large partly furnished house in a safe, secluded upscale area just east of Frederiksted called Estate Little Lagrange. The upstairs offered for rent has three bedrooms, two baths (one with separate toilet and bidet), very large living room with vaulted ceilings, kitchen and laundry room. There is plenty of parking space around the house. Furnishing includes two large couches, a twin bed and large wraparound office desk. The main bedroom has air conditioning and there are ceiling fans everywhere in the house. With the air-flow going through the house at this elevation usually just the ceiling fans are used on hot days. There is plenty of closet space. A shipping container is close by near the driveway for extra storage. The cistern holds about 50,000 gallons. We use solar hot water and there are many solar voltaic panels on the roof together with state-of-the-art storage batteries that run the cistern water pump, whether WAPA lines are working or not there is always running hot and cold water and I can keep other essential electric needs like refrigeration running for extended periods when there's a power outage as with after hurricanes. The house sits about 700 feet up on a hill facing West with unobstructed views of the ocean and Frederiksted 2 miles west as seen from the front porch, master bedroom and living room that are breathtaking. The road leading up is presently a dirt one with promises from Public Works that it will be paved in the next month or two. If you call administrator James at 773 1404 you can get confirmation on that. I use the downstairs apartment and have 2 dogs who get along well with other dogs and people once they've gotten acquainted. They have the run of my four acres and many more surrounding acres of rain forest. There are no neighbors to speak of up here other than another tenant living in a small house quite a bit up the hill. I'm asking $2000 a month which includes the electricity and water as well as access to free high speed Internet via my wireless router. Included are the use of a new heavy-duty large capacity washer, new large capacity refrigerator, microwave oven and gas range/stove. Tenants are welcome to the carambola along the driveway.

Been looking at the other ads and have decided to lower the rent to $1800 a month on this. I realize it has become much more of a renters market since I last placed an ad.
