STX - 2 vehicles for sale
Hi!
We are leaving the island for medical reasons and are still in need of selling our vehicles. Both are in good shape - just couldn't monetarily justify shipping them back.
'01 Ford Explorer - 68K miles. Navy Blue.Loaded. Asking $9500
'99 Ford Windstar - 64K miles. Black. a/c, am/fm cassette. Asking $5800
Will consider any reasonable offers.
Cars will be remaining on island since we have run out of time and are headed north.
If interested, please call Chris - 626-2995.
Thanks so much!
Michelle and Chris

Chris - Is the Explorer still available?
Aaron
Aaron,
Yep. Both vehicles are still for sale. We haven't been able to advertise in the midst of relocating - so they are at a friend's house.
Prices are negotiable if you are still interested. We can be reached at 340-626-3653.
Thanks for your inquiry, Michelle and Chris
Thank you to everyone who checked the message board and spread the word. We were able to sell our minivan and are down to just the Explorer for sale. Without being on island our ability to advertise has been limited - but if you know anyone looking for a great 4 wheel drive vehicle - please let us know! Info is still the same - see previous post - asking $9000 or best reasonable offer.
Take care,
Michelle and Chris

Good evening all on STX! Thanks for all your help in trying to sell our 2001 Ford Explorer XLS. BAd for us, but good for buyer, it is still available. It has running boards, roof rack and Four New Tires and runs great with only 68,000. Still asking $9,000 or reasonable offer. Please spread the word or give us a call at 716-472-4636 or716-472-4601. We had to change our number with our Cingular contract running up. By the way, if you ever try moving back with Cingular to the states and for some reason want to keep your STX number for awhile, for instance to sell a car, you can't do it. It is impossible. Hope all is well and we are praying for hurricanes to miss you all.
Cheers,
Michelle & Chris
that doesn't make sense. It doesn't cost me anything when I am visiting the states to use my cingular phone. Why would it be impossible to keep it if you returned to the mainland?
Well that's what we thought too...but the problem was our contract was up and we wanted to upgrade our phones (which you can typically do online). We were unable to do that - and after a week of driving to cingular stores and hours online and on the phone with customer service (all of which were as helpful as they could be) - we discovered that VI/Puerto Rico is in a different 'market' - and because our cell phones originated in that market - we needed to return to that market to make the changes (P.R. could not do it over the phone) or just break down and get stateside #'s in the new market. So short of flying back to STX to get new phones - we had no choice (I am 8 months pregnant and dropped the last of the working phones in the toilet!)
So that is what happened. Typically you can continue to use the service here - just don't try to change those services - the computers are not up for it!!
Thanks for inquiring - its been quite a week!
Michelle
Hi all!
I know that this is a big time for new comers to be checking things - doing premove visits and starting to settle in so I just wanted to send out a quick message to let you all know the 01 Explorer is still waiting patiently for a new owner in STX. It runs great with only 68,000 miles and has running boards, roof rack, four new tires, great a/c, c/d player...etc. Asking $9,000 or reasonable offer. Please spread the word or give us a call at 716-472-4636 or 716-472-4601. We've left it in good hands with some friends of ours toward Frederiksted - but we have not done too much advertising. It's been kind of hard to do that ourselves now that we are stateside (if you have any suggestions - feel free to share) - and with the relocation and pending baby arrival - just been doing word of mouth, etc.
Still keeping you all in our anti-hurricane prayers...And for those of you who are new to the board - Keep reading - always a helpful site.
Thanks - Michelle and Chris
