We ran out of water yesterday and need to have some delivered to our house. Can anyone recommend a good water delivery service? Thanks you.

I use Gideon;s Water Service - 773-2728. We've used him for years and he has good rates and great quality water. he doesn't like to use Well Water (as it's not drinkable) but he will deliver it if you need cheaper water. He does 3,200 gallons a load, i believe. Used others in the past, some showed up, some ripped us off by not delivering ALL the water we requested, and some were over priced. He's consistent.

No problem! He's one of the only ones i know that actually cares if you have water or not - i've called him on holidays before and he's still come out to handle the problem. Glad to help 🙂

I have used both Marco's and Mario's here on STX but prefer Marco's. I have always had water delivered the same day that I called. As far as well water not being drinkable, I have ordered it in the past from Marco's and can not tell the difference, other than price, but I also have a UV water treatment system. Pool companies recommend that you don't use it for filling your pool, and I would not use it for the initial fill, but I have never seen any ill effects from adding 4 or 5 inches at a time to my pool, and I have been doing it for 4 years. I was also surprised to find out how much difference there was in price for WAPA (or distilled) water between the different water companies here when I have called around. I have always gotten the amount I ordered (I measure my cistern level before and after) except for once when I ordered a small load (3300 gal) and the guy delivered 5300 gals at the 3300 gal price because he did not like to drive with half loads because they sloshed around too much going around curves.
