Selling the paintings I made for a Pistarckle Theater show.
One of the most spectacular plays to hit the Pistarckle stage in the last decade, “Superhero Girls Like Me with the Brotherhood Beats,” told the story of six girls with special powers who joined together to save the world and overcome the pressures of teenage life. This amazing show ran in April of 2007 and was a success in both storytelling and presentation.
Now is your chance to own a piece of this special performance for yourself. Commissioned with set design, S. Cory Willis worked with each of the girls in the performance to create a character sketch and costume design that fit each of their characters personalities. These sketches were then painted and hung during the show. And now these paintings are available to you.
Each painting uses acrylic and latex paints and captures a unique comic book style on 8 foot tall flat mats.
Each painting is selling for $75.00 a piece or $400.00 for the entire set. Contact S. Cory Willis by calling 828-308-0250 or e-mail s.corywillis@gmail.com to work out details. Please note I have no way of delivering the paintings to you as I have no truck. The paintings are currently located backstage at Pistarckle.
I am leaving island on March 2, 2010. I would love for these paintings to find a good owner(s) before I go.
Thank you!
Absolutely wonderful images -- great work!
Thank you so much. I am still incredibly proud of them and would love to take them back to the states with me, but I simply can't afford it. Please pass this along to anyone you know that might be interested in such works.
