Is this Lot # 75 that Lorine Williams has listed for sale in the MLS? I will be showing that lot and a few other north shore view lots to a buyer on Tuesday who has already purchased several similar lots on the north shore and is seeking another. If your lot is a different one, please email or PM me with the lot number and directions to locate the property and I will show this buyer your lot during our tour.

This sounds great. Why are you selling it? Is it in the Coastal Zone?

Hi Jan: Land is not in Costal Zone, which is a good thing as it would have added another permit process. We love the land, and it has a fantastic view, but we ended up buying a house. The land is ready to go, very buidable and in a great spot. If you need further info, just email me.
Thanks

Susan,
Can I set up a time to view the property? I will be on the island for the next couple weeks.
Thank you,
Jan

Jan - I took some photos of the view from this property plus some of the switchback driveway that has already been cut up to the top of the lot. It is one of the better ocean view lots I have seen come on the market on the north shore in the past year. The buyer I was escorting was amazed and amused by all the debris on the lot that can only have been thrown there by Hurricane Hugo so many years ago. From cinder blocks to corrugated roofing to metal that probably came from a gate, there was a lot of stuff that wouldn't have gotten there without one heck of a wind. Really makes you say WOW. If you'd like me to send the photos I have, please PM me with an email address to use. I can also send a link to the MLS listing for the lot so you can see additional information. If you aren't working with a Realtor and would like someone to help you find the lot's location, I'd be happy to show you where it is.

The lot has a fantastic view,. The fact that the driveway has been cut, and there is electric right at the plot is a big money saver. There are a few pieces of metal on the lot and some block, up in one corner. We don't want anyone to get the idea that it is loaded with debris. I'm guessing it came from the house next door that was destroyed in Hugo and has since been rebuilt. I have a whole web site of pictures if anyone is interested in seeing them, just email me and I'll send them to you.

no, it isn't loaded with debris. We were fascinated by the things we did spot, though. It's amazing to think of what simple wind can do. There just isn't much built in this area and the house next door looked much newer than Hugo, so we were wondering just how far those cinderblocks had been thrown!

Thanks for clarifying Alexandra!!! It is amazing what wind will do, hopefully we'll never see another Hugo!
