Hi all,
I am a professional sailor looking to live on St. Croix on a part time basis. I have been reading many of the posts on this site and others that recommend a "Pre-move visit". I am planning (in March) on a two month stay as a trial run. The best rental situation I could find is $650.00 per month with first, last, and deposit. Then I would have to hook up utilities and cable and so on and so fourth... So, if you have a room for rent and would like a little hassle free extra money, please let me know. I will be spending most of my time condo hunting. I will be happy to furnish references, documents, pictures, or anything else that would make you feel comfortable. Hi.
I need a roommate starting mid February. I live in a 2br 2ba with all the ammenities. I am on the lease, so all you need is your suitcase and the rent money. No first, last, or deposit required and you won't be tied to a lease. You'll find that most rental owners want a minimum of 6 months lease committal. It is a nice place with a great view and on the end of the road. The rent will be $750/mo but includes Dishnet tv, internet, utilities, and has a washer and dryer. I am a 48 year old male and an attorney for VI Dpt of Justice. I am tidy and not difficult to get along with. Let me know if you want to take a look.

Hi sir...
I too am anticipating a move to settle in the St. Thomas area. When I saw your plight, i thought it a good idea to begin my search in finding a location to live. I have been on the internet extensively to look for and find what you have obviously discovered in this topic. Our timing might not allow me to yet complete a transaction with you, but I want to take this opportunity to try and make connections with someone who may be interested in seeking a 2 bedroom 2 bath place in the $1200. 00 range.. The price range you're looking at for 2bed 2bath will work in St. Croix easily maybe even including utilities but not in St. Thomas. If you're looking at a decent neighborhood in STT be ready to pay that less one bathroom or bedroom!!!! I wish you luck but keep looking at the island trader as the best rates are there.....if you can find something please ask for pics or have someone check it out for you.

You probably have noticed by now, but Sailor is looking for St. Croix. OLDERBLUE is looking for St. Thomas. Makes for a really tough roommate situation!;)
