I just wanted to post real quick, since I am borrowing a computer for the moment. I had a roomie move in, but we decided that a place of her own would be best for her, so I still have a bedroom to rent out. Since today is the first, I have to pay all the rent myself, so, if you are on island and are looking for a place, gimme a ring! Page 30 of the '09 phone book, Martin Fredericks. (viphonebook.com) Or, if you just need a place for a PMV, I can probably work something out. I just don't want to pay all of February myself. Unfortunately we can't have any pets or kids, but you get the better of the 2 bedrooms, with the nice view and the A/C and the wall full of closet space and a doorwall out onto the deck, where the grill, table, hammock, etc. is. We're at the end of a dead end, so it's nice and quiet, just above Limetree, so it's conveniently located, I own 2 bikes and a car, so I'm sure we can get you around until you have something (if you don't already). . I'm 40 years old, I get up at 6 am fall asleep on the couch most nights before going into my bedroom at some point in the night and I work out of the apartment, but I am usually gone for 4 hours per day ,doing my job, chekcing my mail (and you can also use my PO Box, cuz I go there everyday), going to the store, etc. Ready to move into! All you need is a toothbrush! (and rent, of course! Haha!) My last 3 room-mates have all been female. The most recent was 23, the one before that 24, the one before that was older than me (isn't that a nice way of putting it, Ann?!? Haha!). Ann and I got along great and were very comfy room-mates, the next one, we just had different schedules...and the last,....well, we just weren't compatible as room-mates.....who needs a place? Gimme a ring! (based on move-in date, we will pro-rate the month's rent at $25/day) I am an alcoholic, attending AA for the last 4 years, so I don't drink, but I don't mind if you do (just no parties, please). I am a smoker, too, so if that bothers you...this is not the place for ya!

Hiya Marty, you never said how much the rent was.Is it free, if so i'm on my way. hahaha. Just kidding, but i'm looking for a place, i'm a 41 year young women,don't party,laidback and i love that leg lamp(red rider b.b.gun) haha.Love that movie and they play all day on xmas day. I was looking to move around april but it looks like the move will be in a few weeks. Let me know how much the rent is. Have a great day.

Good point! I guess that is kinda important, huh? Haha! Rent is $750/mo, inclusive. Meaning, we don't pay for water or electric (please conserve both), and I pay for the Landline, the DishNetwork Satellite TV, and the wireless DSL myself...which you would have full use of, except no long distance calls, please (I use the apartment as my home office and I have to separate long distance calls so I charge the company properly).

Wow...I am absolutely amazed that no one has called me about this! Maybe everyone is already here for the season? Oh, well, I guess I won't have to wear any clothes in my house now....UNLESS! Wait, unless someone out there really needs a place to live...this ain't bad, it's cheap, convenient, clean, quiet, etc., etc., etc. Gimme a ring...

I got a PM from a board member and she had some great advice...she thought it would be appropriate to take more pics, now that the place is cleaned up and the room is empty...if the pics you saw on Flickr.com turned you off, PM me and I will send new, refreshed pics to you...

I have one possibility right now, but nothing definite...I'm getting used to living alone again! I kinda like it! Haha! But I like $750 MORE!! Haha!

Your place looks and sounds great. I was just curious as to where the location was. Im a 31 year old professional male, looking to relocate for work. I will be working in Charlotte Amalie. Is that anywhere near you? Of course the job hasn't told me when they need me down there so Im just trying to get ahead of the game and be prepared.
