My husband and I, and my two children (aged 8 and 1.5) are relocating to St. Croix on August 13. We are looking for a 3+ bedroom villa (or, a condo if we can't find a villa). We are flexible in price but aiming for lower to mid 2000's, although our "range" seems to get higher and higher as we find nicer places! :0) Depending on the place (and how much we like it) we are hoping to rent for a month or two. If we REALLY like the place we are ok with a longer contract. This is a permanent move for us, and we are just a bit nervous about signing a long contract without having lived there first. If anyone has anything available please let me know!

I live at Gentle Winds Condos. They are located on North Shore Road between Cane Bay and Columbus Cove.. They are many units for rent for long or short term. We have been renting a 2 bed, 2 bath unit since May and are paying $2000 a month plus utilities. There are also 3 bed, 3 bath units here. Since Aug and Sept are hurricane months down here, I'm sure you can easily rent any unit during that time.

The condos are on 60 acres of beautiful landscaped area with ocean views and a beach, pool, tennis courts and beach bar and club house. This area is where Columbus landed in 1493. It is a good location only being 20 minutes to Christianstead and 30 minutes from Frederickstead.
