Hello there folks! I am a licensed horticulturist, and someone who is trying to add "ability" to a severe disability. As such, I have created a home nursery. At first, it was therapy for me to garden. When I hit 1,000 rare plants in pots, it was more than gardening. Now I have over 5,000 plants in pots, and have a true home nursery with plants from all over the tropical world.

I am trying to raise enough money to assist others with disabilities in employment, assist general islanders with employment and training, and just to live a beautiful life surrounded with plants, scents, etc.

Today (Friday, May 25) until 6 pm, and tomorrow from 9-2 pm I am having a sale on EVERYTHING!! My normal prices are closer to wholesale than retail to beging with, but they have been further reduced as my overhead is so low.

Although you can make an appointment anytime to view the sampling of plants below, the general hours are 2-6, Tuesday through Friday, and 9-2 on Saturdays. To make an appointment, just call 513-7941 (area code 340) and we can arrange a time to meet.

I do give 'Earth Dollars" for plant exchanges (bare root) such as agave (yellow borderin on green) and frangipani (all colors, especially the native yellow), as well as plastic pots that I can reuse. If you like gardening and would like to volunteer, earth dollars are also given as a thank you.

AS A SPECIAL NOTE: There is a virus that is killing our hibiscus and now jumping to other plants. There is only one immune system booster for plants that was developed in Russia. After six months of trying, I have actually gotten a distributorship in the Caribbean. I explain how to use it, and have used it myself to save my plants. It is now jumping to other native plants, so we must do what we can to preserve our forestation. I can only get about 50 of each of EPIN and CIRKON per month, so the supply just doesn't last or cover enough of what needs to be done, but it is a start.

Below is a partial list of plants, but thank you for your support in reading this, and I hope that we do meet.

Warmly,

Dan Gilbride, BA, MA, MRC
