Hey all.
I'm in need of a cheap truck or SUV that can handle hills. The SUV I currently have is borrowed and the owners are needing it back by the end of May. So, if you can help me out, or know someone who can, please let me know. I thought I'd found one, but my boss just informed me that due to business fluctuations, he can only guarantee my job through the end of August. So, I'm looking for something around $3000, give or take.

Guess that means that the Xterra is out of the question now?

Marty,
I was very excited about the XTerra, but that whole maybe not having a job thing really threw a wrench into that plan.
On the other hand, I was able to secure a Pathfinder for $3K, so that worked out.
Good luck with the XTerra and thanks for taking the time to show it to me.

Glad to help! And I'm not pressed for selling the Xterra...just thought I'd do some switching around of vehicles....so it's quite OK that you didn't take 'er....and 3 sure beats 5 for you! Haha!
