Hi All,
We'll be coming down for a week 11-3-11/10 to work on our move and need short term housing. We are 2 adults with a small child, need apt/condo/house with hi speed internet access, separate cooking facilities, relatively quiet. Will also likely need same in early -mid December (still working on dates for December). One bedroom with additional pull out preferred, larger unit okay depending on price. We are great guests, highly independent, quiet.

I.m sorry but your demands are pretty hllarious. Have you read and researched this forum? Do you know to where you are coming? It'll be interesting to watch the responses on this forum.
Your best bet for accomodation would be the Island Trader which can be accessed on-line at the Daily News. If you google, "Virgin Islands Daily News," you'll get there,
Several on this board might be able to honestly direct you towards accomodation and I wholeheartedly recommend Ronnie Lockhart at Villa Fairview.
Most interested in knowing where you be working.

I have a studio which I rent out for such purposes as yours, it includes a telephone for dial-up. However, hi-speed internet is not available.
As STT suggested, try Ronnie, he may have what you need or can point you in the right direction.

I read the post and know I can help somehow, but I don't have such a place that includes kitchen. Villa Fairview has everything and the kitchen is communal, but I rent by the month there. Crystal Palace has everything, but the kitchen is off limits. There is a microwave. The dates are coming up on season as well.
For one to find a place like this for a week here and there, it would be virtually impossible. PM me and we will see what we can do.

For your short term needs try Point Pleasant Resort (www.pointpleasantresort.com). They just installed high speed internet service. It's on the Est Side.
A Superior Suite (condo) has a bedroom and living room with a pull out bed.
Also a fully equipped kitchen is in every unit.
You can rent by the day (two day min) or for as many days as you desire. Of course at this late date it's subject to availability.

I may be able to help you. I have a condo on the east end, I can rent to you a bedroom w/ DSL and a kitchenette or a full size kitchen depending on your price range. I normally rent to vacationers only, but I too was once a transient. PM me if interested.

I have a studio for rent but high speed internet is not possible. There is a phone line for dial up. Small and quiet with a pool and only $80/night. PM me if interested. Donna
