Hello,
I will be arriving in Stx around mid Aug. for a minimum of six months I am a writer and will be doing research around the islands. I am looking for a small studio for myself or a roommate to split something larger. As I will be off island quite a bit I don't have many requirements as to the apt. or roommates I was however hoping to be relatively close to C'stead.

I can get you in a really nice studio cottage or a 1-BDR condo for $950 per month. The cottage rate includes cistern water and $50 per month towards the power bill but not other utilities. The condo rate includes hot and cold water, satellite tv, propane for the stove, and a mailbox.

Hello I'm trying to arrive there around August 22 at the latest I am looking for a roomate as well and to be honest i'm not looking for something as fancy as most my budget is not huge so if your interested in joining up to rent something i would be very interested to talk to you. I was hoping to stay under 700.00 the lower the better i,m mot looking for anything too fancy a place to lay my head is all I'm most likley going to be working at the Buccanneer Resort at first and quite possibly a second job i want to get there and pay a months rent somewhere to give me time to get to work again any advice is welcomed

Has anyone been in contact with the young man who started this thread, Jake1975, in the last few days? He rented one of my apartments starting 8/31, and he never showed up. I know people don't show, but he sent a deposit. I though maybe his flight got canceled due to storms, but he hasn't responded to my email and no phone call. Strange!
His name is Aaron.
So...looks like I might have a studio apartment available immediately!
