Moving to St. John in June 08

I am looking to move with my son and looking for any advice from people who have made this move from the States. I am currently at 10,000 ft. in Co. but, have been on an Island for the 7 years b-4 this. Time to get back to an Island and I feel that St. John and us would get along wonderfully!
