miscellanious electronics STX

trying to gently"recycle" a Phone/Fax Brother Model 8300, which worked when used till 4 years ago, I don't know if it still works as i got rid of the phone line, the ink cartridge has got to be dried up.

I just hate wasting so before recycling it to the electronics dumpster in Peter's rest, I thought someone might want it. Animal shelter and WCo don't take electronics anymore.

Second item is DISH network receiver, with the card holder type.
I have 3. Used to work but don't know anymore if or how they work. They may be useless without an account? Peter's rest will be final destination.
