Looking for someone to fix my outboard

I have a problem with the outboard of my boat, something with the gears. I'm looking for a mechanic to take it to or one that can come and have a look at it. Anyone have any suggestions?

The boat is in the water in Hull Bay. I don't have a trailer, but it runs so I could take it anywhere.

Thanks!

Thanks for your response!

It's a Yamaha 40hp. I just got this boat, and I would like it to just work. I tried a couple of things, but it doesn't seem to help. I really don't want to waste more time trying to fix something that someone else may fix in 30 minutes... So if anyone can recommend a mechanic/repair shop, that would be great... I was thinking of taking it over to IBY.

Thanks again.
