Hello,
My name is Justin Lindsay and I plan on moving to St. John at the end of Sept or first of Oct. Looking for place to live that is affordable. I am not opposed to having roomates. I am a 24 yr old male that is very clean and have a college education. I am bringing my 1yr old black lab Marley so need a place that is pet friendly. I am currently a dog trainer in ATL, GA so she is trained, well behaved and fully potty trained. Looking for short term lease or long term. Please let me know if you have options. Thanks!!!

Good afternoon Justin,
You're going to have a tough time lining up a place on STJ from off island with a dog that size. If you can't come down for a pre-move visit, then see if someone else can bring the dog after you are settled here.

Along with having a hard time finding a place that is pet friendly you will probably have a hard time finding a place that far in advance. i am moving to STX at the end of july/begining of august and am having trouble finding something that will still be available then. i would recomend (as stressful as it might be) to wait a little on your search. All the best of luck though.

As a landlord, i'd say the above is correct(no one wants to keep a place vacant).
There may be some who leases come up @ this time (I once posted my apartment here in such a circumstance as the tenant was going back to the states).
The apartment got leased the first day it ran in the Island trader as it always does.(knock on wood)
