My husband and I are relocating Aug 7th to St John, Looking for a one bedroom apt $700 to $900 a month. My husband has a job on the island and I am a freelance Graphic/Web Designer. Any help appreciated.

dina: Did you read through the information on this site? I see that Islander says that a one bedroom on St John will run you $1000 and up. I think, in the kind of real estate market that is out there now, that is optimistic. I would ask your husband's employer if they have any ideas for you.

dina: just to elongate East Ender's response, go to the announcement at the top of this forum which asks you to "click here if new to the board." You will find a wealth of information there about relocation and will also learn very fast that you have to be here to look for a job or secure housing. I agree with East Ender that finding a 1BR on STJ for $7-900/month is rather unrealistic.
You really need to research what's offered on this site and do your research really well. If that sounds garbled, it's really not!
