Hi there, I just arrived on St. Thomas and I am looking for a small cheap place / room to rent or a roommate on St. John or St. Thomas or Water Island. Or on a boat 🙂 Hoping to spend about $500 a month or under with everything included. I don't have a car and am not buying one yet, so am trying to stay relatively close to public transportation routes. I also have no problem walking a ways to get to transportation or other things. Also if someone would be willing to trade platonic services for part or all of the rent, that would be great also. Please let me know what you would be looking to have done - cleaning, yard work, personal assistant, help with elderly / disabled relatives, help with children, help on your boat, etc., I am jack of a lot of trades and hopefully master of some 🙂 So I would willing to discuss doing pretty much anything. I am a quiet clean person, no partying or drama. Just really hoping to make a go of it in these beautiful islands! I would be open to pretty much any type of room or place, especially something island eclectic 🙂 Not too concerned about many amenities or anything fancy. Thank you so much for reading this post !!! Have you checked craigslist? There are usually several share options there in a special section. Good luck!

i am interested in what you found out. i am hoping to move there very soon and am not having a lot of luck finding apts .

I am planning on moving to either Saint John or saint Thomas in the next month, so if you're looking for a roommate and cheap rent I am definitely game!

Would either of you guys still be interested in a roommate? I have to relocate to STT unexpectedly and need to secure housing
