I am looking to rent a small cottage,guest house or apartment close to Christiansted (but not in town). Interested in the East End, Little Princesse, Judith's Fancy, Estate St. John, Queens Quarters and similar areas, basically within 20 min ride to Christiansted. I am also interested in housesitting arrangements.
I have been a resident for the last 11 years and as such am very used to conserving water and electricity and other "island skills". I hold a secure job and pay rent reliably and on time, every time. I don't smoke and I live a quiet and orderly life. I keep my home clean and tidy and in good repair. I have one small (20 lbs), clean and friendly dog. She is not a yapper, she will only bark in case some enters the property that she does not know (this is a good thing) .
I do not need furniture, but I will also consider furnished or semi furnished apartments.
My current lease expires October 31, but I can move as early as October 1 or even September 1 if a really good opportunity arises. My budget is between $700-900 a month and that would need to take care of WAPA too.

I am still looking for the right place. I am looking to move in at the Beginning on November, but could move earlier if the right place came along.
The location should be no further then 30 minutes drive from the Buccaneer Hotel and should be in a nice safe location.
Budget extended to $1000 for the right place.
I am looking to make a long-term commitment (several years).
If you have a nice, clean and well-kept apartment and are looking for a responsible and trustworthy tenant for it, I might just be your "Dream Tenant".

We have one vacancy at Mango Ct, between christiansted and the Buccaneer - $850 plus utilities. WAPA around $100 - $150 last few months for last tennant

In addition to looking for a 1-2br for under $1000, I am also open to a 2-3BR for under $1500 that I could share with my roommate. Should be in SAFE and beautiful location and should be in good condition.
