The Buccaneer Hotel is currently seeking strong candidates for the position of Bartender.

BARTENDER
Scope and General Purpose:
The job of the Bartender involves providing general support to the Kitchen and Restaurant staff by ensuring that all restaurant patrons, particularly guests, are given quality service. A Bartender performs various duties, which assists in the overall presentation of The Buccaneer Hotel, assists staff in a smooth and efficient manner, and adheres to all protocols in line with the hotel’s strategy, and values.
Main Duties:
• Responsible for set-up, mixing of drinks, service and clean up of bar area
• Ensures quality service, guest satisfaction and the achievement/maintenance of company standards and profit maximization.
• Strong communication skills required and some experience in this field.
• Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following established guidelines, procedures and policies regarding beverage and safety controls as prescribed by company standards.
• Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures.
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
• Know and comply with state liquor laws.
• Ensure established pars are maintained.
• Perform all side work duties according to side work schedules.
