Just got back from my PMV to STT. I had a great time, and did a lot of investigating. I drove around a lot, I mean a lot, really checked out the island. I checked out a lot of things and places that people on this site had recommend, such as Home Depot, CostULESS, Gyms, Island Trader, Daily News, ETC. Made some good work contacts (Finish Carpentry). I'm pretty convinced that I shouldn't have a problem work wise on STT, STJ. So, that being said, I'm looking to rent a house on the Eastend, ( Red Hook, Nazareth ), somewhere in that vicinity. I'm looking for a 3BR,1or 2 Bath House, PET FRIENDLY, ( VERY IMPORTANT). I am a extremely responsible pet owner. I have two gorgeous 4 year old Yellow Labs ( Lucy and Ethel), half sisters and very well trained, I wouldn't have it any other way. A fenced yard would be a plus, but not particular necessary.

I was just wondering if you would mind telling me more about your PMV?
I hope I'm not being nosy but I am thinking about moving to STT but I am still in the researching online phase. It would be cool to get info about your experience. For example, where did you stay?

How long will you need the house? aug to sept or are you looking long term?

I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't quite clear, I was looking for a long term rental. I was looking to take occupancy on August 1st or September 1st. I was hoping to spend between $1500 to 2000. If anybody was interested I would also be interested in possible renting with the option to buy. I'm really not sure if this is something that is often done on STT.
