Hello All,
I have finally arrived on STJ and found an apartment. The only problem is it's unfurnished, so I am looking for any household items/furniture. I am hoping to find second-hand items to keep costs down. Other than looking on the board at Connections, is there anywhere else I can look? Is there a thrift store/consignment shop?

Saltwater Gypsy Consignment (Larie Toth's shop) is closed until October, so there is nowhere on island to get secondhand furnishings. Home Again on STT has used items, but it's pretty upscale and the basics are way expensive, IMO. People often leave good stuff by the dumpsters, especially the one in Chocolate Hole, so drive around and keep your eyes peeled.
I'm on STJ and might have a few pieces available at the end of August if you're still hunting then.
