We rented a place on St. John.....furnished.....and the previous tenant stole all the furniture....bedding...dishes.....basically ....everything...new landlord will not replace....soooooo...we are looking for low cost...or free items....that will ensure our survival here. Please call 618-806-4766..... we are living on Jacobs Ladder.

You rented a furnished apartment. Has the landlord adjusted your rent? If not, I think I would tell the landlord to shove it. There are tons of places that are furnished. The landlord should make some adjustment due to the lack of furnishings.

Just look for another place if he will not adjust the rent or replace the stuff.

Yes, if you have a signed lease that indicates the place is furnished, you have every right to look for someplace else if the landlord will not replace the furnishings.
Unfortunately, of course, it's a tough (expensive) time of year to look for a place on St. John, even if you do have the resources to go through moving all over again. Six months from now, rentals and home furnishings will abound, cheaply.
