Giant Garage Sale!!!

On behalf of The Good Hope School 5th grade students, thank you all for coming out to the GIANT garage sale today.... despite the weather. We had a great turn out and the students are that much closer to going on their trip!

We attended and scored quite a few deals---I even bought a 2008 Red Sox Nation lunchbox with a bunch of baseball , football, and basketball cards, all for a $1.00.

Great job by the kids---some of them were tough to bargain with, however, to seal the deal he or she compromised. And than I still gave them the full price they were asking.

I left my number with one of the parents---I am working with the students at AZ Academy interact club and on April 13, 2012, the students are having a movie nite at the AZ Academy on April 13, 2012. In addition, the fire dancers will be performing at the event.

I will also be donating my time setting up the hot dog cart, selling hotdogs, dragon dogs, chili dogs, vegan dogs, etc.........all proceeds going the the AZ interactclub.

They will be contacting other interact clubs to participate. Plan of action is the students will pre-sell tickets for the meal for $5.00, and $6.00 at the event. Any advance tickets sold by the other interact club----the proceeds kept by the other school, minus a few dollars for the cost. .

This could be a great way to raise some more funds for the students---and have a good time. The next meeting is on Wednesday, and if the Good Hope students want to join in, PM me a contact number and I will give more details-----------April 13, is not that far away.
