first time islander needing roommate

When you getting here, what do you do for work and have you been to both islands?

I'm 25 and will be moving down to St. Thomas at the end of Decemeber and would be interested in finding a place with roomates. I'm originally from St. Croix but I've been in the states for the last few years and am coming back down to work in STT for a while. Let me know if you have any ideas for places to live and what your budget is etc. I'll be down in a few weeks to look at apartments if you wanna link up and talk about it too. Let me know!

I'm considering removing my current room-mate, who has the big bedroom with an air conditioner and a sliding door onto the deck. The apartment is fully furnished, comes with wi-fi, Dish Network, telephone, electric and water included. At the end of a dead-end road, above Limetree Beach. I'm a smoker and on the Board of Directors for USVI NORML. I have 2 Harleys and my car, but there is room for another to park...send me a PM or an e-mail if you think this might work for you. Current roomie is not being very responsible, late on rent, doesn't respect my things (uses my cell and my laptop without permission, eats my food out of the fridge, etc.), drinks alot (as do I, but not to his degree) and makes poor decisions...there is a studio on the same floor for $640 and I think I'll have him move in there if I choose another room-mate...$800/mo for my place.

I removed my current roomie and he decided to take the studio and I have another fellow that contacted me and came and looked and he's moving in tomorrow...seems like a good guy...

I am moving to St. Thomas in a few weeks and I am looking for a roommate. Unlike you this will be my first time going. I would love to learn the ropes from someone like you. If you are interested in a room mate or know someone who is please let me know.
