First time going to st. thomas
Hi
I will be flying into st Thomas toward the end of September and I'm not sure what I should do first. I already know I might want to move there without even visiting I just need to figure out where I can end up staying since I'll be there for a week. I don't want to spend too much because if all goes well I'll make the move hopefully in early nov. I just want a change and I think the usvi would be great. I love the beach and ocean and all I've heard online is how nice it is and how friendly everyone is and that's exactly how I am. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. I might just rent a car and sleep in it to save money while I drive around all day trying to get a job. Please let me know if you have any ideas I should consider. Look me up on facebook Scott Cragle Jr
There is a better forum for you although here you will get some ideas.
Click on 'forum list' right above and read the relocation forum posts and ask some more pointed questions there.
Zero: I thought this was the Relo board?:S
Well, Scott. Welcome to this little corner of the internet. You will probably get a better response here than on your Facebook page. I am a little hesitant to answer all your questions as you have some trolly characteristics. Sleep in your car? Drive around and get a job? I dunno. Read up here on living in the VI...
Sounds to me that you are JUST the type of neighbor that I would love to have. If you don't come down with at least 5-10,000 then you will wind up at a job like Duffy's. I think you should reconsider your desire to move to STT.

Zero: Now I see the error of my ways. This is classified, isn't it? Oopsie.
Probably could clear a good $1250 cash a week ending up with a job at Duffys - why would that be a bad gig??
You should also look on St.Croix and St.John. St.Thomas is a nice island, but I believe St.Croix has more job choices and more options for real estate. FTW!
