Hello,
I am planning to move to St. Thomas in mid-October/early November and would love to house sit. I am a very responsible and dependable 25 year old female, and could provide a rental reference, and professional references. No pets, non-smoking, very clean. I have been living in Atlanta since college, and am looking to make the move to the Islands for a year. If anyone is interested in a house-sitter, please let me know. I will be in St. Thomas in mid-September, and would be available to meet in person.

It is unlikely you will have any luck. People who want strangers in their homes rent them out. People who use housesitters almost always turn to friends or friends of friends. My advice is to spend your time looking for a rental you can afford.

Thanks for the reply. I am certainly looking into renting as well, as I realize this is the most realistic option. I just thought I would ask around for the house sitting, because you never know what may be available.
