I am a realtor and have a studio apartment for rent for $800/month plus utilitites. It is fully furnished. Call or PM me.

Which island are you going to be at? St. Thomas or St. Croix?
Island is not that close to each other without costing you time and money to go back and forth?
I guess I am bit confused when you say either one of these two islands, but looking for something immediately?
And what do you consider cheap?

Cheap as in terms of the lower side of average prices on the islands. Just something small and simple. I haven't decided for sure if it's going to be st. thomas or st. croix. Part of the decision will be the living situation. The other being several job opportunities I am pursuing. I plan on staying there permenately although I couldn't say it would be in the same housing. The immediate part was just to say that I am not waiting for any particular date to move. Just when the opportunity is there, I can be there in about an hour.

You still need to name a price, $300? $700? $1,000? Does this rate need to include utilites?

I suppose less than 1000 total, but closer to 700 would be nice.

I have a small efficiency apartment on St. Croix. The rent is $750 per month, plus electric and water. Dish TV and wireless Internet are included ($170 per month value), fully furnished and equipped with house wares, etc. We are doing some renovations to the unit, but it could be ready in a week, or so. We are approximately 3 miles west of downtown Christiansted. You would need a car. Actually, you will need a car almost anywhere on St. Croix.
