I live on the North shore of St Croix. My cell signal is weak to non existent. I have been exploring power booster/amplifier to try to get better signal. Does anyone know what the cellular frequency Virgin Mobile transmits on? Anyone solve the issue of improving cell phone reception?

Call your carrier. It should be either 800 or 1900 mHz
In order for a booster to work you'll need signal where you plan to put the outdoor antenna. Get on the roof with your phone and check signal.
I have a Zboost and it works OK but not perfect.
