CareTaker for Private Home in STT

I am interviewing for a caretaker for my home. The job comes with an apartment (about 250 square feet) that will rent for $100/month plus utilities. (Electric, cable, gas and water if needed). Can be a man or a woman. But needs to be able to do the tasks.

In return for the reduced rate on the lodging, the candidate will need to work around the house doing various chores for 8 hours a week. Mow lawn, keep pool clean, weed wack, work on cleaning the back yard, and help with projects that I have to do.

The candidate needs to have the following:

1. Background in home mainentance

2. Be familiar with tools like a mower, weed wacker, saws etc.

3. Have a cell phone (does not need to be local)

4. Needs to have a car

5. Needs to be able to purchase small itmes for maintenance (gas etc) job which you will be paid for later.

6. Needs to have a good job. Can be retired but needs a source of income.

7. Needs to be computer literate and to use email to communicate as I am off island for about three months.

I am looking for a one year lease. It is not simply a job to move into until you can find a better job. If that is the case don't respond.

You will need $270 to move in. That is the first, last month rent and one months utilities. You will be asked to sign a lease.
