cost pm me an I will give you more detail on them
I'm confused -- they don't actually move in, just waste your time? What is the benefit to them if this is some kind of scam? What do you mean by, they must be working with some in the court? Please clarify.
????
I got the impression they moved in, didn't pay rent, and the landlord couldn't get help to evict them because they were in cahoots with someone in the courts system.
Reading between the lines
Linda you are so good at reading between the lines. I never saw that coming
I read the same thing, except 50 is ELDERLY??
Well, call be elderly & where the hell is my bennys for working my whole life?
DUN: I'm with you- late 50s is elderly?? Heritage, I wonder if you have heard the latest life expectancy statistics?
I remember when i thought 21 was OLD LOL
Hey Heritage......Do you think they were" shopping" you? Back in the states people could make a buck by going to apts and getting rejected based on age,race....then they'd turn around and go to the equal housing folks and ultimately the courts for a payoff for this type of "selection".....give some more details ....
I am that "elderly" man, the woman was my son's girlfriend. I paid 1000 deposit and 1000 rent for a place for her to move into so she could stop living on my couch. 11 days into the month and the apartment was still not habitable. After chronic lateness to appointments, failure to provide services agreed upon, and verbal bullying from him, she decided not to move in. He refused, after months of trying to come to some reasonable solution, to return any of the money to me. When I wrote the first check out to Heritage, the man insisted that I rewrite it in his own name, which I did. The court case is public record. I won.
The man is a nice enough man and I think you could rent from Heritage safely, but it seems every time you talk with the man, he gives another story. If you rent from Heritage, I would be very careful to get everything written down on the contract, making absolutely sure EVERYthing is fully explained and covered before signing anything. When I was a landlord in the states, I did everything above board, honestly and fairly. When I had a disagreement with a tenant, which was rare, we would work things out amicably and fairly. I choose to believe the problems here were communication related and not based on an intent to deceive
ps. to the man at Heritage: that last sentence sounds very much like a threat. Please be more careful what you put in print.
And like they say, there is always 2 sides to every story! hmmmm
So antiqueone, Is the sons girlfriend still living on your couch?;)
Yes she is, but she is going back to the states in a week or so.
Okay, if I am selected for the jury, I vote for antiqueone. 😉
Wow, Heritage, you just got royally rebuffed. From what I see here, it is YOU that people should be on the lookout for.
