Hello there good people of Croix! Although many of the apartments that were previously listed have been taken, I do have a few apartments and houses left that are either reduced in terms of rent (due to the economy, not the apartment or house) and a couple of others that are new. If 'offers will be considered' , it generally means the owner will consider a reduction of 10-15% unless someone offers full asking price for the rent.

Included in the $800 asked for rent are local phone, basic cable and WiFi, broadband Internet. Water/Electric additional. Very reasonable offers will be considered if applicant has a great ownership or rental history and solid employment.

Hermon Hill: Very large one bedroom apartment. Furnished with essential furnishings, side yard and deck through French doors. Very quiet, very private. Studio Apartment: Small, but has everything. Murphy bed provides more room during the day for work and play. Wonderful pool, view of all islands north, multiple entertaining areas outside on various decks. Beautiful. $750 per month, 6-month lease.

Constitution Hill: Wonderful, beautifully furnished and decorated large two bedroom house with a semi detached office. Fully loaded, pets okay and large yard. Asking price is $2,500, however offers over $2,200 will be considered, again based on history and financial ability to pay rent. One year lease. Condominium: Vista Del Mar. 5 minutes from Christiansted on North Shore. Beautiful view of Buck Island, pool, laundry on site. 1 bedroom, cost effective condominium, unfurnished for rent. Eat in kitchen, LR, Gallery with room to garden. $800 per month with one year lease.

Short Term:

Bugby Hole: 1,700 square foot apartment. HUGE. LR, kitchen, dining area, lovely bedroom, changing room, access to washer and dryer. Sliding glass door in LR look out to incredible pool. Perfect view and close to Haypenny Beach. Daily rate: $225 (for vacations), Weekly rate, $750, monthly rate, up to three months can be negotiated with owner through agent. For people coming for 1-3 months, do not be afraid to ask.
