Where was the Veterans Administration mental health people to medicate or even perhaps lock up this guy for his own safety? Why isn't the media talking about this angle?

According to a criminal complaint, when Gonzalez was apprehended he told Secret Service agents he was "concerned that the atmosphere was collapsing" and needed to contact the president "so he could get word out to the people."
Clearly in need of mental health care.

Oh I've been locked up. Many times, since 1985. Since 2000 it has only been for my schizo-affective disorder that kicks in every once in a while.
Last time I could feel it coming on, and my doctor and I agreed to up my medication significantly to stave off the condition.
I don't think my condition would be appropriate to talk about here, beyond what I have said.
