VI Consortium
Well, apparently they didn't like what I said in a post and have blacklisted me.
And the only way I can find out what I did is to give my name and e-mail address to them through their page to find out what I did.
I've read people questioning their journalistic standards, and now I can see why.
So post it here!
That's it. I don't remember what I posted that could have gotten me banned.
More than likely because I dissed on of their candidates.
I know a few people this has happened to. Remember - they are not a news source, they are just a blog.
In all fairness, I was able to do a test post this morning.
Either I was restored or it was a glitch.
OK, confirmed as not a glitch. They delete every post that I make, no matter how benign or non-controversial. I'm sure their advertisers would like to know about this, so I've demonstrated this to a few business partners already.
I've noticed that the number of responses to their stories seems to have dwindled.
Oh, and they are very aware that we are talking about them on this forum.
They actually monitor what we have to say about them here.
Did you contact them directly to ask WHY?
Can't see why they would single you out as most sites thrive on participation, good or bad, as long as it's not obnoxious or insulting and follows their forum rules.
I'm not a follower of the site tho I do check it out from time to time.
I'm not going to waste my time with that. They know what they are doing. If they want to be vindictive, let them be that way. I've documented my posts and their deletion of them.
You know, you should always read the terms of use because there is almost ALWAYS something like this:
" We are not required to host, display, or distribute any User Submissions, and may remove at any time or refuse any User Submissions."
😉
There is a mirror site for the Virgin Islands Consortium called the Virgin Islands Consortium Banned users page. You can say what you like and not be censored! Here is the link:
