The first win for the trumpster!

But we already knew he was going to improve trade issues... the TTP was terrible for the US & was just an economic warfare tool against China.

I just hope the honeymoon lasts at least a year... I'm not too sure that this president is anything but "obama" for the right.

TPP was as bad as Nafta. We used to manufacture things in the USA, but after Nafta that went out the door and now I guess we have become just another tourist destination, which I expect is what the liberal part of America has been wanting.

struggling... haha!!!

Did you know the US subsidizes food growth to such an extent that it negatively impacts the ENTIRE GLOBE's farmers?

Seriously Alana, your posting topic after topic of complex issues that you (and clearly the author in this case) don't fully understand; it's like all you do is read headlines...

maybe if they stop subsidizing the farmers, we can get soy and corn syrup out of all our food

the only reason there IS corn syrup is because corn is DIRT cheap due to it being our largest subsidized crop.

The number is astounding... I could think of a lot better uses for 7 billion dollars a year.

We had so much corn the US started forcing it into our cars via ethanol production (another complete boondoggle by the government)

Ethanol mix in gasoline is mandatory (forced by government) so look at this chart with that in mind:

Doesn't it take as much energy to produce ethanol and mix it with our gasoline as it creates? In other words " Does it save us from using oil" ? or is it just another scam brought on by the farmers lobbyists?
I know it has destroyed plenty of fuel tanks and engines.

takes more energy, actually... BOONDOGGLE! (yet again, the government shows us it's true colors)

A scam surely, but the government is culpable also.

As soon as people figure out ways to vote themselves money, they will, until the system collapses.
