Can anyone tell me with certainty what all of the dirt work is for close to airport? I see a billboard sign that says "STX Sports Complex"? Thank you.

The work that is being done is to remove the red mud or bauxite tailings left over from the old Alumina plant on the St. Croix Renaissance site. This is happening now because the lawsuit that has been ongoing for decades has finally been settled. This was covered in The Avis a few months ago. I think the GVI got $46 million in the settlement.
