Run Soriya Run
The Supervisor of Elections is dead wrong in barring your running mate. The legislation of 2005 that she quoted is not relevant. I hope she takes her fight to court. She is getting a lot of free oress and will celebrated as a folk hero if she wins the system.
It doesn't matter who wins or who loses in the VI. Nothing will change except that we'll be that much closer to the inevitable insolvency. We can't borrow anymore now anyway so the GVI's hands are tied. I'm sure the good folks at Morgan Stanley are rubbing their hands together in glee at the prospect of restructuring our debt so we can go further in the hole. The sharks are circling. Soriya should be grateful they've spared her the expense of running a ship that rapidly taking on water.

C'mon caribstx, think outside the box:
1) rename St. Croix = St. Obama for $1bil from the Feds
2) ask the Feds $1bil to have us drive on the right
3) sell Govt House to a Casino group
4) legalize all drugs, except Bacardi (then tax them)

BRILLIANT! 😎
So we are off to the 3rs Circuit Court of Appeals. Good luck Soriya.
Show this lopsided court that they cannot terrorize the people here with impunity, with the cloak of assurance that people here usually do not have the wherewithal or the means to challenge their rulings.
The free coverage is amazing. It shows that you are a fighter, you are poised and organized, and worthy to fight for the people of the VI all the way to federal court. You would never have been afraid to sue Bovensa for breach of contract. You have my vote.
Who will be at the helm as the GVI ship slowly sinks further into the sea of insolvency? Personally, I couldn't care less.
Again Soriya's victory in the 3rd Circuit court of Appeals further exposes the incompetence or even the malignancy of the local Superior Court and the local branch of the federal court. Thank you Soriya for standing up for yourself and I. Doing so standing up for us. The first court ruling was so patently wrong as to be egregious.
What does it say for residents here who do not have the means or the wherewithal to challenge these incorrigible rulings? The third branch of government has been terrorizing the populace for far too long. Allowing convicted criminals to sit in office, allowing the government to impair a contract, and allowing the executive branch of government steal funds to repair personal property, with dismissive rulings with regard to standing. May they cease their oppression of our citizens.
Yay!
Will she be the Captain when the good ship VI finally sinks into insolvency?
Canuck, I share your incredulity that an mortal can fix the insolvency path that DeJongh set us on with his dastardly Diageo deal, the Hovensa pardon, the 2011 Economic (in)Stability Act, and general theivery.
Wilma Lewis, the latest political hack judge, who Soriya just beyatch slapped in the Third Circuit, now granted a TRO to out the Chuckster on the ballot.
But the Supreme Court just ruled that Chucky, The Elections Supervisor, and the Governor's Atty General are bey arch slapped again!
They did not request a cure from the Supreme Court within the 3 days set aside by local law.
Push! Chucky out of the senate.
The judge is demanding an end to corruption. Wow. What a breath of fresh air!
Is Coffelt married to Tony?
She is Gordon Coffelt's widow.

Thanks guys. If you like her anti-corruption stance, share with a friend.
