I'm going to recuse myself from the whole payment of reparations thing, as my ancestors all got to the US looooong after slavery was abolished.

They started at the bottom [no $, no property, no college degrees - one grandmother didn't even graduate 8th grade], and within one generation, all their kids had all of the above. That's why they came to the US - for better opportunities and a better life.

I like the idea of those who feel reparations need to be made should be the ones paying for them. 1040 form should have an extra line at the bottom, "would you like to give $1000 towards reparation for slavery?"... I bet there'd be far more lined up for the handout than willing to hand out.

Would it be tax deductible? And taxed income on the other side? Hmm…. wonder how that would work on my joint return when I am white and my husband is black.

My parents used to make me do chores without compensation. I'd like some reparations, with interest.

More slaves today, than any time in history. It's almost impossible to get a diamond without involvement from slavery, you can even get a slavery free blood diamond. A worthless rock, made valuable only because of advertising, is the symbol of love. Pathetic really.

Did you know that by purchasing that devise you are supporting slavery, should you pay reparations to them?

Human trafficking is one of the biggest concerns right now, I do annual training from FEMA and DHS on this topic, it's only getting worse and worse.

I will say, I am friends with a couple Santo whores, whos lives have gotten much better since being sold to our whore houses.

And I know you're a PC guy, but damn hahaha (btw, I know what you're saying is true. In fact, it's pretty much a given if you own a computer or mobile device, you support slavery, which means yes, me too, so it stinks from my high horse and that was a lot of commas, but I think it was correct.

well roto, i guess they other races have benefited from slavery as well and so i guess if everyone throws a dollar into the pot ( black, white, asian well you get the idea ) and divvy that up all will be right with the world

now-do we divvy it up to the slaves of today or the families of slaves form more than 100 years ago
