Reality: stranger than fiction at times.. (is TV being used to control your mind?)
Remember watching TV in the 1960's? it seemed like a much more organized format, more like a unified front than today.. every station would play an "end of broadcast day" National Anthem (because who stayed up late at night to watch TV, didn't we all have jobs?)
even if you don't remember that this video will be highly interesting.

Enjoy, and don't forget to watch TV tonight!
I have always thought that not only the Government, but also political groups such as conservative and liberals have used the airwaves to desensitize the public on their particular views, such as the "Stop Smoking" or "War on Drugs" not to mention the desensitization of homosexuality, which has been more of a political statement than anything else like the "Queer eye for the straight guy" not to mention schools with "Tommy has two daddy's" books. Mind control has been happening for decades, ever since the beginning of the media era. The computer & internet are just the icing on the cake for mind control.
I can't imagine what is going on in modern times... that was 50+ years ago!
these types of "suggestions" mixed with a complete lack of critical thinking (since we are never taught how to critically think, we lack the skill) can lead to some a very pliable population.
Luckily I'm homeschooling my kids & teaching them primarily the "7 Liberal arts" which is composed of the Trivium and Quadrivium; the Greeks knew how to educate and knew that certain topics had an order of importance for the brain to work properly and not be fooled by logical fallacy and manipulation.

I bet they're using tv to desensitize us to homosexuals, they they used music and sports to desensitize us to blacks.

Don't forget the Amish and rednecks! ........... 😮
btw, thanks for getting me to clean my monitor with sprite jamison.... I guess it must have been due for it.

Don't laugh, you would be surprised what they have used not only used TV, radio, but also numerous media outlets to push not only political views, but also other things as well, just like advertisers do.

I was laughing because your post quickly went to "da gubermint be usin me teevee to give me a case a da gays". First, why would the government want to push a gay agenda, or even havd a gay agenda? Second, don't you think that as more people get to know more gay people and realize that they're just normal people and not trolls under the stairs waiting to I fect you with aids, that it will just become normal, that they have more exposure, hence on tv more often?

I'd agree with both of you on this one...
1st: there definitely is an agenda in the entertainment industry to normalize certain lifestyles (perhaps to the detriment of society)
AND! before you say "AH HA!".... I was speaking of Single parents, probably the one worst thing possible for children is being raised in a single parent house hold (mostly single mom) the statistics on this topic are irrefutable and encouraging this in anyway should be the last thing we do, especially in our "entertainment" venues.
2nd: yes it's more socially acceptable for non-heterosexual couples and exposure certainly has gone up, seeing this reflected in media certainly is expected.
I do agree that the government has its hands in entertainment, but most entertainment I feel is a reflection on society. They are just like any other business and do what sells.

except that entertainment is almost exclusively "liberal" and that is not a very good reflection of society. (the split is much more even).

maybe liberals are more into entertainment.
