Dan is a beer beer aficionado; his depth of knowledge on this hoppy subject is very impressive.

Dan also holds a "beer tasting" from time to time; I have yet to attend but definitely want to.

Maybe he can do better than the $18 a bottle for Rogue chocolate Stout (damn you Tavern 1844 and your delicious food/beer$)

A specialty beer store on STX was a stroke of genius! I visited the Ale House store yesterday and was amazed at all the different types of European beer they stock. Plus they have several very cool gift packs (Christmas is coming, I hope I get one, hint, hint) and more beer related food stuff coming in everyday. The owner is very informative and know his stuff!
