It appears that there was no collusion with Russia
I wonder if they will investigate the origin of this false narrative. Who was the source of the information which justified the FISA warrant for Carter Page? What information justified the Mueller investigation and what was its source?
Lots of questions remain.
No proven collusion by the Trump campaign - but definitely proves Russian interference in the 2016 campaign. There were lots of bad/stupid people arrested and charged. The worst being the Russian hackers who will never see an American courtroom or jail cell - were they not Putin's people?
This was not a waste of money or a witch hunt - nor was this just about Trump.

Good. No more indictments. Just put it behind us and move on.
I am eager to hear the results of the DOJ IG's investigation.
There was plenty of reason for a FISA warrant to investigate Carter Page. He was/is known to do business with influential Russians including Putin. Page's short tenure on the Trump campaign combined with his current (at the time) access to powerful Russians made him highly suspect.

They should all be investigated regardless of party association. Totally abuse on the government’s side.

Probably Gods Will.
Read the Mueller report. Download it.
This is his statement regarding the report:
https://time.com/5597514/robert-mueller-statement/
"We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime."
He closed his statement with these words:
"I will close by reiterating the central allegation of our indictments—that there were multiple, systematic efforts to interfere in our election. That allegation deserves the attention of every American."
"We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime."
This was in reference to obstruction, not collusion.

"I will close by reiterating the central allegation of our indictments—that there were multiple, systematic efforts to interfere in our election. That allegation deserves the attention of every American."
But there was no connection between the interference and the Trump campaign. No collusion.
It was not mandated in his overview to make nor charge a sitting president.

Not exactly a witch hunt when crimes were committed.
Nothing but the best for this swamp.
"We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the President did commit a crime."
Focus. The topic is collusion. Your comment refers to the section on obstruction. Two separate things.
Crimes that had nothing to do with the election campaign, however.
Why is the discussion of the greatest liar in American History even taking place on a moving website?? You want to be a good follower, and believe everything your told without question, go do it on a political website.

Seriously ? Nuff Said. Still LMFBO ! FOCUS.
In America people are innocent until proven guilty, this is a very good thing. The investigation of the investigators is just beginning. Hopefully this won’t take two years, let’s see what it brings, I make no predictions. If the discussion is about influencing an election how about MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, The Washington Post, NY Times, etc all spending billions trying to dig up anything on the POTUS, while working 24x7 trying to turn every utterance of the POTUS into a scandal, that’s not journalism. He’s the most investigated living human being in world history. The best they’ve gotten is he’s outrageously narcissistic, regularly rude and sometimes nasty. Would I invite him to dinner, no. Would I vote for him, yes. He’s actually doing what he told people he would do, unheard of in living memory, for a politician. That’s why he was elected. Remember, Obama created Trump, in the same way George W. Bush created Obama.
Nope. Who is "Care to tell us....." ? Ain't no Us. Was replying to You.
The topic of "It appears that.....".
Time line of the Russia probe below. Several Trump affiliates in the probe have been proven guilty by their own admissions.

It is the media's JOB to report on politics. The truth lies between what's reported on FOX and the NYT. We the consumers, though, have to know how to sort out actual reporting from opinion - and that is increasingly more difficult with the 24/7 news cycle and personal choice to limit media consumption only to outlets that say what we want to hear.
Far too much time is spent in the press putting down Trump or aggrandizing him (FOX and the "conservative" media players). But be careful of your condemnation to the fourth estate's role in our society if you personally attest to a belief in the righteousness of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. You can't cherry pick.
I think Trump is using tariffs, condemnation of the Fed Reserve and other off the wall declarations to manipulate the stock market for personal gain.
The inverted bond yield curve and increasing federal debt to make up for the recent tax cut should be keeping all of us up at night.
Trump is going to crash the economy as have most of his Republican predecessors in the past 100 years. In the end, that will be how he is remembered.
So the truth lies between Fox and (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NYT, W Post). Is this a weighted average, or some other formula? How do I get at the truth if I can’t trust the media? How is the average American to figure out the truth, we’re not clairvoyant. Unbiased objectively is the KEY ROLE of the Third Estate, it’s called Journalism. If we can’t depend on true Journalism then the Third Estate has no value. At it’s worst it’s a propaganda tool for the State, which is one step from Totalitarianism.
There’s nothing but vitriol coming out of the mainstream media, it’s not helping anyone and it’s making it impossible to see the truth.
But is seems you trust Fox, Breitbart, the Daily Caller et. al. Are these not media outlets?
Fox is not real journalism since it's mostly talking heads spouting opinions though locally its news product can be ok.
Journalism and the media are the fourth estate. Third estate references the clergy.
Since journalists are human beings, all reporting comes with some built in bias. ProPublica, NYT, NPR/PBS/public media, the Atlantic the Hill and Fox to a limited degree (not talking heads and not broadcast) round out my choice in national reporting. Reporters tend to be well-educated and well-informed, which may make their reporting seem "untrue" to those who seek only agreement with their own opinions.
There is no such thing as the "main stream media" - that's a made up term propagated by Trump and others that want people to be easily manipulated by opinions and not seek out other valid information.
Actually I would love to have Donald Trump in my home - he's a charming and charismatic man - but I wouldn't vote for him because he is a proven perpetual and chronic liar.
@Gator's_Mom
I’m an individual, I can’t be labeled by the color of my skin, my gender or my age. I’m diverse in my views and beliefs so I have no desire to have any media outlet try and influence my thinking. I only want data so I can make my own decisions, but they should be informed decisions based on unbiased data. I’m old enough to remember news anchors like Walter Cronkite, in fact I knew him personally. That generation understood Journalism and would be appalled by why is labeled News or Journalism today. I don’t believe it’s possible to get accurate reporting today.
And yes there is a Mainstream Media, since the invention of radio and the syndication of newspapers along with the founding of the Associated Press, there has been a small number of news sources that are propagated through various channels to the general public. This by definition is the mainstream media, because of it reach.
If Trump is a chronic liar then he’s far from being alone, as every talking head at ABC, CNN, CBS etc., reported that the Russian hoax was fact, for two solid years. Breathlessly reporting, daily, they had incontrovertible proof of Russians collusion. All aimed at a single goal, to take down a sitting President. Horrifying at best, for any President, or public servant for that matter.
The amusing thing to me is that Trumps action are so obviously premeditated, he is goading the Mainstream Media, yet they can’t help but fall for it every single time. He’s just playing with his food. If people ignored him he stop and look for a different approach to bring attention to himself as that’s exactly his goal. No one is covering the Democrat candidates, why, because Trump has the Mainstream Media exactly where he wants them, breathlessly focused on him. Proclaiming he’s a fool, traitor and liar, they really don’t see what’s actually happening, they’re being manipulated. It truly remarkable and 50 years from now he’ll be studied in Universities for having reinvented Political Campaigning.
Yes Virgin Islands, It appears there is a Santa Claus.
It seems that political leaning, race, gender, education level achieved and age CAN predict an individual's perception of media bias and accuracy.
Below is a link to a Gallup poll published by the Knight Foundation on perceived bias and accuracy in news reporting.
@Gator's_Mom
The article actually states if the reader/viewer agrees with the ideology of the News Organization. That by definition states the News Organizations have an ideology, which is exactly when it stops being Journalism and starts being propaganda.
The Free Press or Third Estate, is only valuable to the people if they rigorously seek out and report the truth. In any other scenario they are nothing more than a political puppet advancing a narrative and not serving the people.
The vision of the Founding Fathers was that the Government servers the people, that the Central Government was to be highly restricted and that Local Government could be more easily managed by the citizens. Politics was never seen as a career, just the opposite, it was to be successful citizens giving back to the community.
As a Nation we’ve drifted far off course from this vision. Much of the mainstream and social media are only pushing us farther off course.
Winston S. Churchill once said “show me a young man who isn’t a liberal and I show you a man with no heart, show me a old man who isn’t a conservative and I’ll show you a man with no brain”. Point being, life is (and always has been) hard, most young people don’t see this as they live in a protective bubble. It’s “discipline” not “desire” that yields prosperity and freedom. The formula is simple: Discipline = Freedom
And yes, I’m in my 60’s.
