Duggars consider adopting their 20th child

"We have friends that have adopted children who are a great influence in our lives, and we have talked about their experiences. So it's something we've considered. We have to know for sure that is what God wants for us to do,” she said in her interview with People. “When he gives us a child [through pregnancy], there is no doubt in our minds that is what He wants, but when it comes to adoption, we would have to know for sure that was His will."

Well since you can't carry kids anymore, don't you think that is God's will?

Like what, a child being dropped off at your door with a note? This is Gods will, please accept this child. Thanks God.

I have watched once or twice. They certainly are very good to their kids. And can certainly afford to provide for them all. I was just poking at the whole we would only adopt if a sign fell from the sky deal. If they feel so strongly about adopting they should just do it. If god giving them a child by pregnancy would be a sign, then why wouldn't a mother giving up her child be a sign that they should adopt?

Modern religion is just so alien to me I guess.

Sorry but this woman should have been fixed after the 9th child. (or sooner)
I find it offensive. There's enough of them to start their own country.

I also don't understand their decision to have this many kids. But they are definitely pro-choice and I applaude that.

The Duggars' beliefs.

More information about their family.

This is the author's opinion, but looks familiar, if you ever watched a couple episodes.

vttovi, i get your point :-), and there are plenty of those signs for them to adopt. lots of kids without real homes languishing in the states care.

I am betting that their 19 or maybe 20 kids aren't going to be robbing and restaurants or committing any B&Es. Wish I could say that for some of the kids here. Personally I don't want kids, lots of reasons but if they want to raise them properly and instill respect then power to them. I cant imagine one let alone 20! Whoa.

Yeah AandA2VI, but i also bet the older kids are taking most of the raising of the younger kids upon their shoulders.

Is that a bad thing? Teaches responsibility... something I think LOTS of young kids now days seriously lack. Its CRAZY no doubt lol but I guess what I mean is that its ironic that their 19 kids are well mannered, respectful and we have parents here and in the states that only have 1 or 2 and they're a hot mess.

Most of my friends growing up had to take care of younger siblings. Now a days if you suggest that kids only want to know how much $$ they will get.

What? You don't think it would be cruel or inhumane to breed an animal that often?
My opinion. You don't have to like it.

Your statement in its entirety is ugly.
