I know, Cruzaniron. It would leave the average DeJongh supporter speechless. Here is a napkin.

Speechless, Cruzaniron? I understand. Your statue has feet of clay. Here is a napkin.

I've never been a DJ supporter. I am a supporter of accurate, unbiased and un-twisted facts.

They tried to do this before. It's illegal. Double taxation is illegal and unconstitutional. It's also taxation without representation. The government knows the school system is so bad people don't know their rights and are counting on it. Look how bad the libraries are.

DeJongh knows that the Organic Act of 1954 gives him the authority to levy as much as a 10% surcharge on income in addition to the mirror tax. Call it a "state tax", to better understand it.

Read it and weep. How else will be make up for the deficits causd by the Diageo and Hovensa give aways that will leave us almost $100 million in the drink? And expect more cuts if Congress does not renew the extender.

This will never pass. It is a political death sentence for anyone that supports it.

Firstly, maybe it's not a death sentence. Remember the gov and the majority of senators are democrats. And so are 90% of the registered voters. So if party loyalty plays a role it will pass.
Secondly, the last time he threatened layoffs, he was able to cut employee incomes by%8. So if as he said "there will be a bloodbath" and says it out loud, it will pass.

If the 10% surcharge comes to pass, it means more of the economy will move underground out of reach of taxation. The amount of barter and cash transactions in the territory amazes me already. I encourage it wholeheartedly and participate regularly.
