I am looking at getting a CCTV camera we have had a few thefts recently. I know nothing about them but was thinking that I would get an IP one rather than one that connects directly to a TV or DVR.It would be fitted externally and then accessed via my home network.Can anyone with any knowledge / experience of this point me in the right direction as this is something I know very little about.While searching the net I found certain layouts from Calgary alarms ( http://www.calgaryalarm.com/ ). Do you guys have any recommendations for a good camera?

I'm a bit late to the party, but HomeDepot sells some easy to install kits.
If your not technically challenged, there's TONS of info out there on the inter-webs for setting up your own DYI install.
