I know there must be many many stories and experiences similar to this one, but what eloquent accounts these are! (read both)
I have never met Jane, but I have always enjoyed reading her posts on stormcarib.com and I am glad that she, her husband, their dogs and friends all survived!

Thanks. Her accounts read like prose poems. Lays on the information with style. Are there any hard numbers for wind speeds (max sustained / max gusts) as Irma passed over STT? I've seen widely varying numbers from different sources.

Yeah she's got some struggles but things are getting better for her.
I check every day to read her updates and look forward to them!
Her experiences show you that there are SO many different post-hurricane experiences on the islands, depending on where one lives and the damage sustained.
